📋 Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)
Separate and Identify Slide Components
Depress the plastic release levers on the inner slide profiles to disconnect the drawer members from the cabinet members. Group matching left and right tracks together and mark them clearly with masking tape. Identify the front mounting tabs versus rear stops on both sets.
- • Separated inner and outer slide tracks laid out in pairs beside the cabinet.
- • Release levers visible and unbroken on the inner tracks.
- • Forcing slide tracks apart without depressing the disconnect lever.
- • Mixing up left and right drawer tracks.
Mark and Set Slide Reference Lines
Use a combination square to scribe level reference lines on the interior cabinet walls where the slides will sit. Measure up from the cabinet floor or use cut-to-length scrap spacer blocks clamped inside to establish identical heights on both sides. Set the front edge of each slide set back 1/16 to 1/8 inch from the front face of the cabinet frame.

Mount Cabinet Slide Members
Rest the cabinet-side slide track directly on your spacer block aligned with the front setback line. Use a self-centering bit to drill pilot holes through the elongated mounting slots, then drive panhead screws into the front and rear mounting holes. Verify the track is level and parallel to the cabinet sidewall before tightening completely.

Attach Slide Members to Drawer Box
Mark the center or bottom reference line along the outside sidewall of the drawer box according to slide specifications. Align the drawer-side member with this line, setting the front face flush with the drawer box front edge (behind false front). Drill centered pilot holes and fasten the drawer member with low-profile screws.

Engage and Test Drawer Action

Push the drawer in firmly and evenly until the release levers click and engage, then push completely closed. Slide the drawer open and closed several times to feel for friction, racking, or binding.

Inspect drawer reveal gaps and horizontal level; if misaligned, loosen the slot screws slightly to adjust vertical or horizontal positioning. Once the drawer operates smoothly and sits square in the opening, drive additional locking screws through the round non-slotted holes on all tracks.
